A 5.0 magnitude quake jolted near Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the area at 21:30 UTC (18:30 local time), was centered north of Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
