A 5.3 magnitude quake jolted close to Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Tuesday around midnight, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 01:27 UTC (00:27 local time). The epicenter was south of Mid-Atlantic Ridge, at a depth of 10 km.
