YEŞILYURT, Malatya — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Yeşilyurt on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor struck the area at 03:21 UTC (06:21 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was about 17 km southeast of Yeşilyurt and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
