A 5.1 magnitude quake hit near Sarangani on Monday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 05:13 UTC (13:13 local time). The epicenter was approximately 21 km west-southwest of Sarangani, at a depth of 80 km.
