Published Jun 16, 2026

At 8:05 p.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued an updated fire weather watch valid for Wednesday between noon and 9 p.m. for North Fork.

Winds are expected to be west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph and relative humidity 7 to 12%.

“Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning,” comments the NWS.

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
