Update: Earthquake of 5.1 magnitude detected close to southeast Indian Ridge on June 9

A 5.1 magnitude quake struck near southeast Indian Ridge on Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 19:36 UTC (01:36 local time), was centered of southeast Indian Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
