WEST SANTO, Sanma Province — A 5.6 magnitude quake occurred close to Vanuatu region on Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 10:20 UTC (22:20 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter of Vanuatu region.
