RAJANPUR, Punjab — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Dajal on Wednesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 04:06 UTC (09:06 local time), was centered approximately 40 km northwest of Dajal. It occurred at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 4.9 event, but later upgraded it to 5.0.
