A 6.6 magnitude quake rocked close to East Pacific Rise on Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the area at 17:43 UTC (09:43 local time), was centered south of East Pacific Rise. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
