A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Puerto Natales on Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 02:38 UTC (23:38 local time). The epicenter was approximately 200 km west of Puerto Natales, at a depth of 37 km.
