JURM, Badakhshan — A 5.8 magnitude quake struck close to Jurm on Friday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor hit the region at 16:12 UTC (20:42 local time). It occurred at a depth of 188 km with the epicenter approximately 37 km south of Jurm.
