Update: April 2 – 5.2 magnitude earthquake registered near Bitung, Indonesia

A 5.2 magnitude quake jolted close to Bitung on Thursday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 11:35 UTC (20:35 local time), with its epicenter approximately 118 km east of Bitung and a depth of 35 km.
