Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 strikes area close to Bitung, Indonesia on April 2

A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted near Bitung on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the region at 00:15 UTC (09:15 local time). It occurred at a depth of 35 km with the epicenter approximately 124 km east of Bitung.
