CEBU, Central Visayas — A 5.2 magnitude quake struck close to Ilihan on Monday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor hit the area at 07:22 UTC (15:22 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter about 1 km west-southwest of Ilihan.

The agency has so far received 37 reports via its online form from people who report they felt moderate shaking. According to the USGS DYFI report, residents in cities including Cebu, Consolacion, Mandaue, Liloan and Tambongon reported experiencing the quake.
