A 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to Indian-Antarctic Ridge on Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the area at 10:14 UTC (18:14 local time). The epicenter was west of Indian-Antarctic Ridge, at a depth of 10 km.
