A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred close to Mid-Indian Ridge on Wednesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the region at 11:10 UTC (16:10 local time), was centered of Mid-Indian Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
