A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled close to Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Saturday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor hit at 06:17 UTC (05:17 local time), with its epicenter south of Mid-Atlantic Ridge and a depth of 10 km. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.1 but later downgraded to 5.0.
