A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Vilyuchinsk on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck the area at 17:19 UTC (04:19 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter approximately 190 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk.
