Wednesday afternoon, a 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded near Galapagos Triple Junction region, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 22:30 UTC (15:30 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake shook at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter of Galapagos Triple Junction region.
