Update: Earthquake of 5.1 magnitude recorded near Bantogon, Philippines on Jan. 28

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.1 magnitude quake struck close to Bantogon Wednesday afternoon.

At 08:43 UTC (16:43 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake shook at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter about 15 km west of Bantogon.
