Wednesday afternoon, a 5.1 magnitude quake was detected close to Banda Sea, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which struck the area at 05:49 UTC (14:49 local time), was centered of Banda Sea. It occurred at a depth of 108 km.
