Update: Earthquake strikes region close to Sarangani, Philippines on Nov. 3 – 5.3 magnitude recorded

A 5.3 magnitude quake was reported near Sarangani at midday on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 04:21 UTC (12:21 local time), the area was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 27 km, with its epicenter roughly 65 km south of Sarangani.
