Earthquake strikes area near Anonang, Philippines: 5.2 magnitude reported on Sept. 30

Tuesday night, a 5.2 magnitude quake was registered close to Anonang, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the region at 14:15 UTC (22:15 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located approximately 1 km east-northeast of Anonang.

Past week’s quake

Last week, one tremor with a magnitude 6.9 was detected in the region. It was recorded close to Bateria, prior to this quake.
