The NWS Fort Worth TX released a flood advisory at 10:48 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 1:45 a.m. for Dallas County.

According to the NWS, urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

Impacts may include water over roadways and overflowing poor-drainage areas. Turn around; don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
