Update: Earthquake shakes region close to State of Yap, Federated States of Micronesia on Oct. 13 – 5.9 magnitude recorded

A 5.9 magnitude quake was registered close to State of Yap Monday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the area at 11:11 UTC (20:11 local time). The epicenter was located of State of Yap, at a depth of 10 km.
