WEST SANTO, Sanma Province — Monday morning, a 6.4 magnitude quake was reported close to Vanuatu region, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which slammed the region at 21:47 UTC (09:47 local time), was centered of Vanuatu region. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
