NEGRINE, Tébessa Province — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to Chebika Sunday evening.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 19:11 UTC (20:11 local time). The epicenter was situated approximately 47 km west of Chebika, at a depth of 10 km.
