Sunday night, a 5.2 magnitude quake was detected close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor shook the area at 10:03 UTC (21:03 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated about 147 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
