A 5.0 magnitude quake was recorded close to Vilyuchinsk Wednesday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
A tremor struck the area at 03:31 UTC (14:31 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated approximately 191 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
