Update: 6.7 magnitude earthquake registered close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia on July 20

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 6.7 magnitude quake shook near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday afternoon.

The tremor devastated at 06:28 UTC (17:28 local time), with its epicenter located roughly 130 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a depth of 15 km.

Over the last week, there was another quake of magnitude 2.5 centered nearby, which was recorded close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky too, prior to this quake.
