ALEUTIANS EAST BOROUGH, AK—A 7.3 magnitude quake was recorded near Sand Point Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time). The epicenter was situated roughly 54 miles south of Sand Point, at a depth of 12 miles.
