Update: Seismic activity on July 13 – 2.2 magnitude earthquake close to Toms Place, CA detected

FRESNO COUNTY, CA — around midday Sunday, a preliminary 2.2 magnitude quake was registered near Toms Place, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 1:28 p.m., the region was shook by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 5 miles, with its epicenter approximately 11 miles west-southwest of Toms Place.
