IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA — A 2.4 magnitude quake was reported near Calipatria Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor struck the region at 4:26 a.m. It occurred at a depth of just 3 miles with the epicenter situated approximately 8 miles west-northwest of Calipatria.
