Update: 4.0 magnitude earthquake registered close to Olancha, CA on July 13

INYO COUNTY, CA — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 4.0 magnitude quake struck near Olancha Sunday morning.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 5:27 a.m. The epicenter was located roughly 7 miles south-southwest of Olancha, at a depth of just 1 mile.
