INYO COUNTY, CA — A 4.0 magnitude quake was detected near Olancha Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
At 5:27 a.m., the region was jolted by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of just 1 mile, with its epicenter roughly 7 miles south-southwest of Olancha.
