Update: Earthquake of 4.0 magnitude recorded close to Olancha, CA on July 13

INYO COUNTY, CA — A 4.0 magnitude quake was reported near Olancha Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook at 5:27 a.m., with its epicenter positioned roughly 8 miles south-southwest of Olancha and a depth of just 0.27 miles.
