SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA — Saturday morning, a 3.7 magnitude quake was registered close to Pinnacles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled at 1:31 a.m., with its epicenter positioned approximately 3 miles east of Pinnacles and a depth of 7 miles.

The USGS DYFI report indicates that people in cities such as Carmel, Seaside and Soledad felt weak shaking during the tremor.

During the past week, there was one quake of magnitude 2.5 centered in the region, which was detected near Pinnacles seven days earlier.
