SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 3.7 magnitude quake occurred near Pinnacles Saturday morning.
At 1:31 a.m., the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 7 miles, with its epicenter approximately 3 miles east of Pinnacles.

Weak shaking has been registered and residents reported feeling the earthquake in multiple cities, including Carmel, Seaside and Soledad according to the USGS DYFI report.
