Update: Nov. 23 – 5.5 magnitude earthquake reported close to Edd, Eritrea

ZONE 2 (KILBET RASU), Afar — Sunday afternoon, a 5.5 magnitude quake was registered near Edd, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the area at 12:21 UTC (15:21 local time). It occurred at a depth of just 3 km with the epicenter located about 116 km west-southwest of Edd.
