5.3 magnitude earthquake registered near Vilyuchinsk, Russia on July 30

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.3 magnitude quake occurred close to Vilyuchinsk at midday on Wednesday.

The tremor shook at 00:40 UTC (12:40 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 72 km southeast of Vilyuchinsk and a depth of 57 km.
