Update: 5.2 magnitude earthquake reported close to Kokopo, Papua New Guinea on April 4

A 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Kokopo on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the area at 16:23 UTC (02:23 local time). It occurred at a depth of 110 km with the epicenter roughly 154 km east-southeast of Kokopo.
