5.2 magnitude earthquake detected near Sarangani, Philippines on Sept. 18

SARANGANI, SOCCSKSARGEN — A 5.2 magnitude quake was registered close to Sarangani around midday Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 03:47 UTC (12:47 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 124 km, with its epicenter approximately 280 km east-southeast of Sarangani.
