Update: Sept. 22 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake registered near Vilyuchinsk, Russia

Monday morning, a 5.1 magnitude quake was recorded close to Vilyuchinsk, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck the area at 16:32 UTC (03:32 local time). It occurred at a depth of 61 km with the epicenter situated roughly 145 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk.
