5.0 magnitude earthquake reported near Vilyuchinsk, Russia on July 30

Wednesday afternoon, a 5.0 magnitude quake was detected close to Vilyuchinsk, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor shook the area at 05:12 UTC (16:12 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located approximately 234 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
