Update: 5.0 magnitude earthquake hits near Barishal, Pakistan on March 27

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Barishal on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled the area at 04:52 UTC (09:52 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter approximately 41 km northwest of Barishal.
