Friday night, a 5.0 magnitude quake was detected near Barrio Industrial, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 02:13 UTC (23:13 local time), the region was jolted by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 74 km, with its epicenter approximately 38 km north of Barrio Industrial.
