The team took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Daniel Bagnole. Patrick Tolan and Andrew Karkoc assisted.
The Windigo tied it up 1-1 late in the first when Braydon Beahm scored, assisted by Rio Treharne and Hunter Hayes.
The Wolverines’ Aaron Vanwie took the lead late in the first, assisted by Andrew Karkoc and Landon Greenough.
The second period ended with a 3-2 lead for the Windigo.
Wyatt Herres made it 4-2 with a goal halfway through the third period, assisted by Ben Aucoin and John Halverson.
Ronnie Hill also increased the lead to 5-2 with a goal three minutes later, assisted by Alexios Georgaklis.
The teams will face off three more times, with the next two matchups on May 6th and May 4th.
