At 7:35 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory in effect until Saturday at midnight for Western/Central Fremont County below 8,500 ft and Wet Mountain Valley below 8,500 ft.

The NWS adds to be ready for, “Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches.”

“Travel will be difficult. Expect slick and snow covered roads with hazardous travel conditions through this evening,” explains the NWS. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
