“At 3:39 a.m., a snow squall was located along a line extending from 4 miles west of Flagler to 3 miles northeast of Burlington. Movement was south at 15 mph. Wind gusts up to 55 mph are expected with this squall,” comments the NWS.
Locations impacted by the alert include Burlington, Stratton, Flagler, Seibert, Bethune and Vona. This includes the following highways: Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 390 and 450. Highway 385 between mile markers 178 and 199. visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in this squall. Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this snow squall.
