The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement at 3:46 p.m. on Wednesday until 4:30 p.m. for North Douglas County below 6,000 feet/Denver/West Adams and Arapahoe counties/East Broomfield County and Central and South Weld County.
“At 3:46 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a convergence line from near Orchard to 8 miles south of Hudson, or extending from 20 miles west of Fort Morgan to 25 miles northeast of Denver. Thunderstorms may develop along this line in the next hour with a few landspouts being possible,” according to the NWS. “Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”
Locations impacted by the alert include Keenesburg, Prospect Valley, Roggen, Riverside Reservoir and Masters.
The NWS comments, “Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.”
